Davido squashes beef with the Nigerian Immigration service as he poses with the deputy Comptroller in new photo

After dishing out some harsh words at them earlier this year, the Nigerian singer seems to have buried his beef with the Nigerian immigration service

Sometime in May, he had issues with immigration officials, which led to his missing a flight out of Nigeria to London where he was billed for a concert. Davido alleged that money was involved in the matter.

He wrote on Instagram: “Missed my flight to London !! Pissed!! F**kin immigration officers always harassing me cus of money!! F**k ni**as!!”

Some days later, the Immigration Service responded to the claims of the ‘Aiye’ singer, saying that he missed his flight because he did not have valid travel papers, adding that the money-accusation was untrue.

Davido shared the above photo of himself and the Deputy Comptroller of Immigration, J.O. Ajisafe, on Instagram, adding the caption,

“God bless the Nigeria Immigration Service!! Big ups to the Deputy Comptroller of Immigration Mr Ajisafe J.O !! Hooked me up with a brand new Nigerian passport! Ready for movement!!”
