Strangers at the airpot

Submitted by Sid from Mumbai
I live in India always have . I recently was traveling from Mumbai to Jaipur for Work.I was early at the airport and was asked to wait in the Waiting Lounge . Getting bored , sitting at just one place i decided to check out the gift shop. As i was walking towards it I saw these two American women, having a nap on the recliner. It looked like they were on the Airport for hours. I kinda felt bad for them . I however walked in the gift shop and looked around for stuff that might interest me .I could see one of those girls across from where i was standing, she looked so tired .. and at that moment I felt like i should do something for them. I got this medium sized stuffed toy which resembled a Spongebob .. It may have been except that it was orange..And i asked the owner for a note and a pen. i wrote " When you get up and if this makes you smile , it would mean the world to me P.S :- Waiting at the airport sucks !! have a good trip and an awesome exxoerience.." I walked towards them and placed the toy and the note next to them. I tried to be as slow as i can , I didnt want to wake them up. As soon as i tried to walk away one of them woke up. At first when she looked at me , i probably thought " May be she thinks am a thief". SHe then looked at the soft toy and she just brightened up. Like this was the best thing anyone had ever done for her. She asked " Is this for me ? " In her american accent. I gave her a huge smile. :D and nodded . hahha you have no idea how ecstatic she was. For a minute i didnt feel like strangers anymore.I shook hands with her .. Her smile somehow made my day ..I walked away with nothing but Admiration for her ...... i always had this theory where i thought that Americans were rude and ungrateful. But I was WRONG, SO WRONG.. They were just like ME. That random act of kindness probably made me a better person. As jesus says " DONT JUDGE" .. I follow that mantra everyday of my life since then
